Academic paper session

We are inviting authors willing to submit work to be presented at the conference to submit full papers, short papers, work-in-progress and posters to request an invitation from the scientific committee. 

Please read the following guidelines carefully. 

For all work you are requested to apply for an invitation to submit your work to the conference. This is done by sending an email to sportteknologi@chalmers.se with an abstract of maximum 250 words outlining the purpose, methodology, findings and contributions of your work. The requests for invitations will be continuously evaluated by the scientific committee, and hence should be submitted as soon as possible.  

Date for submiting a request for invitation: ASAP

Deadline for submission of full paper and short paper: April 1st, 2015

Notification of accepted papers: April 15th, 2015

Accepted full papers and short papers will be awarded the opportunity to present their work during the paper sessions scheduled along the parallell sessions during the conference. 

At least one author should be registered as an attendee to the conference for the paper to be accepted.

Work-in-progress can be awarded the possibility to present the work during the conference in special work-in-progress sessions or in the paper sessions at the discretion of the scientific committee. 

After the conference a selection of papers will be invited to resubmit their work for a review, and the possibility of publication in a special issue of Centrum för Idrottsforksning’s (CIF) journal ”Svensk idrottsforskning”. 

Paper guidelines:

Full papers should not exceed 10 pages, including references.

A short paper should not exceed 5 pages, including references. 

 

Presentation guidelines:

Poster guidelines:
The posters will be displayed throughout the conference.
N.B. There will be no organised poster walks, the poster exhibition area will be visited individually during the breaks. Poster presenters are encouraged to be available by your poster during breaks.
 
The size of your poster should be 70-90 cm wide and 100-120 cm high and be portrait oriented.
Please use letters large enough to be read from a distance of 1.5 m at least.
 
Time for mounting the poster
Monday May 11th 09:00– 10:00 and 12:00– 13:30
 
Material for mounting the poster will be provided on site.
 
Dismantling
Tuesday May 12th from 15:00
 
All posters left in the conference center after that will be discarded.
